Our Family We are very close to both sides of our family. Tim’s parents live about 45 minutes away. We see them about every two weeks for family dinners or a swim in the pool. Tim's sister and her family live in Santa Barbara. We see them at holidays' and special occasions. Kerrie’s parents and sister live in Bakersfield, CA. Wesley, Kerrie’s brother, lives in Chapel Hill, TN. One of the reasons we chose adoption was because of our experience with Wesley, who is adopted. The family gets together for trips to Disneyland, Tahoe, Yosemite or to see Elle in a recital or soccer game. Our families are dear to us and support us in every way. They are excited about us adopting and can’t wait to baby-sit.
